How Do I Apply For My Provisional Licence?
You can obtain a form D1 from the Post Office or if you prefer contact us at Chinnor Driver Training and we will send them to you. You will also need two passport style photographs.
When Should I Apply For My Provisional Licence?
You can apply a few weeks before your 17th birthday to give it time to be back for your birthday.
How Much is The Provisional Licence?
It costs £50 which also includes the cost of the upgrade to a full licence when you have passed your test.
Do I Have to Pass The Theory Test Before I Start My Lessons?
No. You can start driving before passing the theory but you must pass your theory test before booking your practical test.
How Many Lessons Will I Need?
It's difficult to say because everyone is different, but here at Chinnor Driver Training we would encourage you to have as much private practice as possible which along with professional, quality instruction will enable you to reach your goal as soon as possible.
What Does The Theory Test Involve?
The theory test comprises a hazard perception test which is based on a series of video clips and also a set of 50 multiple choice questions. At Chinnor Driver Training we can offer you full guidance through both parts of the test and also advise you on all relevant training materials. |
